Having a hard time reading the text messages, emails, etc on your iOS device? Here's how to make the text on your iPhone or iPad easier to read.
The iPhone 5 may have a bigger screen, but text still looks pretty small to my aging eyes, despite my new glasses. iOS relies on a fixed font size, but there is a way to change the font size in the iOS settings.
- Settings > General > Scroll down and tap Accessibility
- Tap Large Text.
- Select one of the available sizes
That's all there is to it! You'll now see larger text in the Contacts, Calendar, Mail, Messages, and Notes apps.
Just to be aware that some emails might might not appear correctly with these new font settings. You will have to experiment with the various font sizes in order to find the one that works best for you.
